Duties and responsibilities: an anesthesiologist is responsible for   managing and treating changes in your critical life functions - breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure - as they are affected by the surgery being performed. They have many duties but the most important is to review the patient’s history and that determines what treatment the patients would take.

Education: their education consists in completing medical school and serves a four year residency to specialize in anesthesiologists
