Duties and responsibilities: preserving the public peace , preventing and detecting crimes and offences and apprehending , causing to be apprehended persons who shall have committed, or shall be charged with or suspected of having committed or having abetted the commission of, or being about to commit, any crime or offence, and  regulating processions sand assemblies in public places;

Salary: $32.19 an hour, starting step 1 salary $78, 000,and top step salary $104,457

Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possess a valid certificate of equivalency issued by a state department of education.
